But in the last day or so Google launched a pretty big algorithmic improvement to their ranking a change that noticeably impacts 11.8% of their queries and they wanted to let people know what’s going on. This update is designed to reduce rankings for low quality sites which are low value add for users, copy content from auto generate content websites or blogs that are just not very useful.
Even though Google keeps the secrets of their algorithm “panda” and ranking process tightly guarded, there are a number of commonly accepted ways by most of bloggers to increase our Google page rank. Most of these methods are based on web site developers and bloggers using simple trial and error for a long time, along with a dedication to tracking the statistics of their blogs or websites.
Google made this update for the U.S. rankings first and will be rolled out everywhere soon.
